Gem Mining at Clark's Elioak Farm - the Petting Farm In the heart of Howard County

Enjoy our Gem Mining Experience ... great fun and educational!

Clark's Elioak Farm has added a flume to provide a gem mining opportunity at our farm throughout the year. Purchase a bag of Mine Rough in our Castle Store and use the running water in our flume to wash away the sand to discover the gems and minerals in each bag.

Every Mine Rough bag includes a Gem & Mineral Identification Guide and a baggie to carry your gems home with you.

Individual Bag: $8.00 for 5 oz of gems & minerals.

Medium Bag: $11.00 for 10 oz of gems & minerals.

Large Bag: $15.00 for 16 oz (one pound) of gems & minerals

Petting Farm

Seasons at the Farm!

Spring season at the farm is a special time. The farm comes alive after the long winter months with baby animals, bright green , healthy vegetables and beautiful flowers.

You will see some new animals at the farm as well as visit with some "old friends" like Captain Jack. Come on out and rediscover your favorite farm animals and take a pony ride, hayride and picnic and play with us.

During the summer all of the animals are still around to visit with you. The Enchanted Pine Tree Forest is a lovely, cool place to explore and picnic. Play in our Enchanted Pine Tree Forest. You can find many Enchanted Forest characters, including Little Boy Blue, Mary, Mary Quite Contrary, Little Red Riding Hood and Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater's wife hiding in the woods. On really hot days, you can cool off under our misting tent and have a cool, refreshing ice cream.

Our fall season is very busy and full of fun. In addition to visiting your animal friends, you can take a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin, explore our Enchanted Pine Tree Forest and enjoy a lovely day at the farm.

You can book birthday parties and school tours all year round, too. Just email us any time via the contact form. Please book early. We do fill up fast for tours and parties.
