The Castle entrance in 1955.
In 2007 while Mark Cline was repairing the Dragon, it caught fire!!
The Howard County Fire Department removes the remains of the Dragon from the Castle parapet.
Mark Cline rebuilt the Dragon for the Castle on Route 40 and also created a duplicate Dragon for the Castle entrance at our farm.
George Miller (who built the Castle entrance at our farm in 2007) accompanies the Dragon to the petting farm.
In 2015, George Miller once again worked at our farm - this time to move and rebuild the original Castle building.

Sanding and painting the red spires in July was a very hot job.
George Miller supervises raising the spires.
The spires are be placed on top of the main tower.
Centering the spire on top of the tower takes great skill.

The 3 Bear's House was in bad shape when we started the move.
We had to cut the house in half to move it.
George Miller did his magic putting the house back together.

There is 7,000 pounds of concrete in Willie's tongue and base. Digging it out was a massive job!
Ex-Cel Tree Experts helped us move Willie. We love that crane!!
A whale needs a pond. Here's the liner.
The ride to the farm rattled the whale. There wasn't much left of him when he got there.
Mark Cline brought him back to life - bright blue and smiling.
The Old Woman's Shoe in 1955.
The shoe was 23 feet tall and 30,000 lbs. We had to cut it in half to move it.
Ex-Cel Tree Experts provided the crane to move the shoe.
We took the chance to prime the top of the shoe while it was on the ground.
The crane was put to good use again putting the shoe back together.
George Miller supervises the setting of the top & bottom of the shoe together.
First we parged the shoe and repaired all the cracks.
Then we primed it.
A beautiful shade of purple for the shoe!!
